N55 Clutch replacement tutorial?
I'm getting ready to do the clutch and flywheel on my '12 135i N55. I've searched around for tutorials and I've found a lot of N54-based tutorials. I know the transmission is slightly different for the N55 so I was wondering if there were any N55 specific tutorials? Can I just use one of the N54 ones (are torque specs the same?) Can I follow one for a 335i N55? Should I just pick up a 335i N55 shop manual? Any suggestions would be greatly helpful!

Well, I swapped the clutch on my N55 and also swapped clutch and transmission to a GS53-BZ. I just used youtube. It's really not that hard, only tips I have is the wood block between the subframe and the front of the oil pan, every extension you own, and these: https://www.astrotools.com/product/1...ct-socket-set/. If you don't have a clutch / flywheel yet, I'm also selling a lightly used one in the classifieds section.

Thanks for the advice. I'm assuming the wood block is to prevent the engine from tipping forward too much after removal of the trans making it difficult for re-install? I have a decent set of torx sockets from previous work on the car.
