Could use help with n54 rear inlet install - actuator question
Hello all,
Long time no see, glad to see 1addicts still lives. I appreciate everyone's helpful replies in advance. I am in the process of installing 1.75" VRSF silicone inlets, and I am at the rear inlet - I've got it seated fully to the snout, but there is no way in the physical universe that we occupy that I can tighten the worm clamp given its position relative to the wastegate vacuum actuator. I've looked at detailed photos of the rear turbo, and from what I can see, this particular part is held on by what looks like 2 10mm bolts (photo included for reference). If I remove the vacuum line and these bolts, I should be able to swing this thing out of the way still attached to the wastegate actuator arm to get the access I need to snug this clamp down. Does anyone see any issues with this? Thanks again!

Solved. In case anyone stumbles on this post. Removing the wastegate actuator arm and vacuum actuator and the bracket holding it on to the body of the turbo was a game changer and not something I’ve seen in any of the other DIYs.
