Age: 40 with good driving record

Break down:

Liability (100K,300K,50K): 96.73$
Uninsured (100K, 300K): 17.21$
Medical Pyaments (5k): 5.92$
Collision (250$ deductible): 391.91$
Comprehensive (100$ deductibe): 72.73$

the collision is much higher than I expected (on my previous car
valued ~ 28k was 100$ cheaper), everything else is reasonable.

Edit: I just turned 25 with 2 small claims on my record almost 5 years ago (one accident, one to fix a window when my car was broken into). Deductables are $250 I think...

500 Deductible - $599/6 months.
I do have points from 3 years ago - just about to drop off
With my wifes car the total damage is $1,153/ 6 Months

Hmm - I'm going to have to check out NJ Manufacturers

It has mainly to do with the fact your under 25, once you hit 25 you'll see the changes, supposedly.

I'm hoping this will be the case for me when my policy renews in april since they only take me being 25 into account then. I also have a couple of speeding tickets (1 very bad) that will be taken into account at the same time so I'm hoping they'll cancel each other out.

I still pay too much though. My postal code has something to do with it (I live right downtown). When I told them I own the place I live in that made quite a difference. Also putting Lojack in the car made a HUGE difference since the E90 is on the computer as having no alarm.
