A new Government Website!
I came across a very useful website regarding information on safety recalls and other matters:
www.safercar.gov I also called BMW to inquire about the VANOS bolts. Although it wasn't said, it was implied that the bolts may be on their way to America...soon? I also asked about seeing the new parts before and after installation, and I was told that wouldn't be a problem.  |
