Production Delays

My sales rep says that my 135 production week has been pushed back two weeks due to part supply problems as a result of the problems in Japan. Has anyone else experienced this or did my sales rep just mess up the paperwork?

It could also be due to the fact that the factory is closed this month. European holiday (august).

Factory was closed 7/23 to 8/6, it's open now. The production delay is confusing though as my car actually got pushed up a day from 8/17 to 8/16. What options did you order? I'm thinking a part for one of the options might be delayed so they are building all the cars that don't have that option? Just a guess.

+1. That is correct. Leipzig Werk summer vacation is over now.

Only your CA knows the actual reason. I left my deposit late July, no VIN# yet.

yep left my deposit July 7th, still no production or VIN...sucks
