My BMW F20 cluster SMD change from orange to white
[Before]
I took out the cluster and carefully took off the back case The SMD Chips are under the speed limiter light (be extra careful if you attempt to do this) you have to take it out without damaging the ribbon, also make sure you remember to put it back exactly how it was or it won't be aligned when using the speed limiter Taking out the smd chips should be to hard, I used suction pen and desoldering wick/brade, also very important is isopropanol to make sure the board and chips are clean I ended up changing 8 LEDs, I used white so it looked like I bought the car with them in, looks a lot better than blue Daytime shot My name is nathan, I live in Manchester, United Kingdom and can travel so if you want this done to you car send me an email Nathan.peltier@rocketmail.com Hope you like it |
