Tire reccomendations

Looking to pick up a set of non run flats for my 135i. I've been shopping around and the Eagle Sport All-Seasons look like a really good bang for the buck. Any reason I wouldn't get a set of these? I really want the PSS but the price difference is over $150 which I could use to buy a spare or tire repair kit.

Have you researched the options? And what do you want to do with the car? I ditched the RE050s and carry a can of 'slime' and a small air compressor for the non run flats I got.

Here's how I made the decision to replace my runflats. First I decided what I was going to be doing with the car (or in my case not doing), no racing, no autocrosses, mostly blue highway road trips. From that (and previous experience) I knew I wanted exceptional wet handling. Second, I built a list of possible replacement tires and using Tire Rack's objective data compared them against the OEM data. What I replaced the OEMs with had to exceed the OEM specs and better them considerably in the wet.

I made, for this group, a heretical decision to run Pirelli P Zero All Seasons. I've run the OEMs, Conti DWs, and Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ on 1ers in the past.

I like the P Zero All Seasons for their performance, NVH characteristics, and the fact that they aren't STINKING RUN FLATS!! ;-)

It's only $150, worth 4x that to get the PSS. Although, you really want to go PS4S.

I would be definitely ditching my run flats, I'm trying to see if I can find a reasonably priced donut spare to keep in the trunk for emergencies. I just want to make sure that that $150 I put into the PSS are worth the extra cost. Ill mostly be street driving it but I have done track days in the past. One of my problems is that I love to slide around and it hurts eating away expensive tires.

Why compare AS tire to PSS?

If you are hunting for summer tire, why not try Firestone Indy 500?

I tried those on my buddy's car and it felt awesome, especially for its price.
