The boys down there do good work!!! They did my wooshy boi mods plus all of my maintenance work and haven't had a single problem with the car.

What MHD tune are you going with? i ran 260rwkw on S2 on the dyno.

So ended up going 2 steps colder on the plugs and replaced the coils as well as I did not want to muck around going back to the shop with misfires and the like.

Initial thoughts using the bum Dyno is that it pulls a lot harder in all gears and top end is a little bit crazy now. Need a highway run to pull some WOTs to see how it performs in the higher rev range.

The burbles setting in the MHD flash is medium but not convinced I like it, I may disable.

The Burger intake really makes a difference to the sound of the car. You can here the turbo spool and blow off valves a lot clearer now. ....woooossshhhh !

The catless downpipes are stealth till you get to 80Kmh. Lay off the accelerator and it backfires so loudly you think the motor has blown. Dont know hot to fix this, maybe deleting the burble setting in the MHD flash will help. My wife is going to give me grief for this one.

Oil temp is now 20% cooler due to the 7.5" FMIC so hopefully this helps with engine life.

Will post the dyno once I get it.

Overall happy with the mods but time will tell.

Advan communicated really well and are a great team.

Reflashed with MHD, deleted cold start, disabled burbles and reversed golf tee mod, backfire is pretty much gone now.

Exhaust stinks a bit with roof down which in the long run may see me removing the catless DP

IC lowers your Intake Air Temp, but your oil temp should not be affected.

I wonder what causes the drop, tune or maybe the intake

I've got a similar setup to you - i don't rate the catless downpipe either - I want to swap out ASAP haha

Did you put burbles on both, or just sports mode?

For your exhaust, do you have the PE mod or just the golf tee mod?

I've got a video thread going on here - check it out if you want

Hey thanks for the link will take a look, exhaust mod is golf tees mod got rid of it,

All burbles are turned off in the flash tune, got rid of the pops and backfires.

What’s your fuel consumption like, mine went from 11.7 to 12.5, though I drive like pimply faced 17 year old with too much testosterone

CEL 2774 Air Mass too high.

So my engine threw a CEL, 2774 Air Mass too high.

Popped the bonnet and found this. Charge pipe to intercooler silicon joiner had slipped off

Undid the clamps, repositioned sleeve and retightened. . Cleared the code and all good.

Car is running heaps better, no stutters on gear shift, WOTs runs it seems to pull better and seems to hold boost

So decided to try e30. Found a united petrol station with E85 race blend. Downloaded an app for calculating the ratio of E85 to 98 to run E30.

Drove for about 5 mins to mix it up, flashed the supporting map from MHD and went for a run.

Butt Dino is very happy, it just pulls and pulls. Will have to a proper dyno run to measure results.

Oil runs slightly hotter now about 120 degrees

So loved the extra ponies with the e30 mix So much I tore through 2 tanks of fuel blasting over the highways.

My fuel economy is absolutely trashed, 13. 7 l/100km.

Anyway Flashed back to 98 RON but really good to know I can run an e30
Mix successfully, my tuner reckons I need a LPFP if I intend to keep this mod but I had no petrol starvation issues and rail pressures looked fine on the data logs

Your oil temp is higher as Advan must have turned on Sports Cooling option in MHD.

Just turn it back on in your tune options.
