Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Here are my videos, enjoy: Day 1 Day 2 - Excuse the music being played in the BSM 1M . Here is my collection! My collection is by no means comprehensive - more of a collection of group shots. Others will have lots of interesting perspectives I'm sure. In-car video will take a while to process and may only be available privately. Enjoy Last edited by mlhj83; 09-26-2012 at 10:09 PM.. |

We followed you guys up to the Black Mountain Pass where you unfortunately turned off into the parking area
Our convoy was on a weekend driving trip also, it's a shame we didn't catch you further along the way as it looks like you went to quite a few places we also passed through. I probably caught the back of your pack on my gopro, along with some radio chatter on our end about how surprised we were to see so many 1M's all in one place! |

Were you with the M5? It is a shame we didn't catch up with you further along. But we did you see go past us later, high up in the hills where this photo was taken.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/attac...8&d=1348447553 We could hear you guys about 45 secs before you went past! Quote:

We were quite a mixed group, headed up by an e39 M5 and followed by a Subaru Impreza WRX STi, Audi S2 Quattro, Civic Type R, Alfra Romeo SZ, Corsa VXR and an e87 120d some-way behind. We stayed in Swansea on the Friday night then travelled up to the Snowdon area for the Saturday night, before heading over to the EVO triangle on the Sunday morning and back down to Newtown before the rain hit hard. We weren't hanging about which is probably why you heard us from some distance |

It sounded very NASCAR and some of us thought it was an AMG car until it flew past

I believe it has a completely standard exhaust but with the back-box removed. |

Great weekend and superb location for a blast..... Thanks H & Marcus.
Just washed the car, the splitter took a pounding underneath, few small stone chips but the biggest is the rear passenger side wheel on a spoke, but well worth it Pics just uploading to photobucket. |

That's not too bad. Part and parcel of enjoying the car. Great thing is that it doesn't cost too much to repair such things. It almost becomes part of routine maintenance of a well used car. Incidentally, I think my nearside rear bearing is on its way out. Not sure whether all the sideways jumps and landings had anything to do with it. |

We did get some sideways jumping action happening over the weekend
I am impressed in the grip levels of the 1M as I ran most of the weekend in MDM and the car felt so stable and controlled even during the sideway jumping.... As for the stone chips, Felicity I have lined up with her fine artist brush and touch up paint, will mix some gloss black and titanium silver to get close enough to the hyper black.....will be as good as new |

The weekend allowed me to explore the 1M's capabilities and learnt quite a bit from the experience. The first few hours on Saturday morning were especially awesome!
I will load some pictures in the next day or so.

I have found out the cause of the banging at the front of my car my anti-roll bar had fallen off! Those sideways jumps didnt do it any good! Please check that yours are all done up tight! I have a smashed under tray to deal with now! BMW warranty hopefully!

Your right mate if the other side had come off as well there would have been alot of damage! Hopefully BMW will replace my undertray under warranty but I doubt it I am going to get them to check it hasn't done any damage I haven't noticed! I managed to put it back on with the help of a couple of bottle jacks aswell as managing to cut my head open in the process!
