Bought my 13 135i msport in January with 69k miles. Luckily I haven't had to do much out of pocket as warranty covered the majority of the slew of issues she had here's everything warranty covered

Covered under warranty

Driver side headlight - stepper motor fault.

AC Evaporator

Blower Motor

Lower Oil Pan Gasket

Alternator

Oil filter housing gaskets

Things paid out of pocket

Spark plugs

Idler pulleys

Front brakes and rotors

Tires

Rear differential service

Front right lower control arm bolt loose

What it still needs

Transmission service

Brake flush

Diagnose suspension issue ( makes an odd popping noise and I can't pinpoint where it's coming from )

110,200 miles:

Clutch and Flywheel
Transmission Mounts
Front Brakes
Brake Fluid Flush
Control Arm Bushings
4-Wheel Alignment

Probably missed an opportunity to go HPA control arm bushings or M3 arms, but the rest was so much I couldn't think about extra for an upgrade.

Still need tires and hood-prop struts. Struts will be DIY; ties at end of summer unless something goes awry in the meantime.

I also missed one in here. Oil pan gasket had been seeping since I bought the car at 49k mi. Just a bit - never enough to note oil loss between changes. (Not like the OFHG!) Over the winter, oil leak got worse again. This time was the valve cover. Had both done, along with a lower oil line, a couple months back. Will try to track down date and mileage.

I've had my 2013 BMW 135 N55 for 2 years now. Bought it at 62000km and recently hit 84000km. Only thing I had to do besides normal maintenance is change the starter. It wasn't cheap but it has been quite reliable for me.

Heard so many horror stories about the N54, though it is a better engine, strictly performance wise. This being the reason I paid the extra $ to get a N55

2013 135i. Just rolled over 70k. Have done nothing but fluid changes, filters and tires since new. Still rocking original brake pads too.

90k miles on my 1M (N54T).

Problems I had:
- HPFP replaced free under extended warranty
- Fuel injectors replaced free under service bulletin
- Charge pipe blew off
- Coolant expansion tank replaced

That's about it. Everything else been standard and aggressive maintenance on my part.
