For the Meth tank bracket what needs to be trimmed to work in the 1er. The bracket or something in the trunk?

Adding two pictures for clarification:

In the first photo you can see where the tank will sit if you secure the bracket to the flat portion of the trunk as I had it in my 335is. The location is represented in blue in the second photo.

If you want the tank to sit flush and not overlap the battery cover, you can sit the back portion of the mount on the lip (in red) and put some type of spacer between the bracket and the flat portion of the trunk. This will pull the lip of the tank back enough to not overlap the battery cover.

After taking a look, you can use the mount as-is in either case. You just need to be a bit more creative if you don't want it overlapping the batter cover. You may need to drill a new mounting hole in the bracket if you mount it with a spacer though.

P.S.: The mount is being sold alone. The tank is being sold with the meth kit. This is geared towards someone who has the same tank as me on the coolingmist mount. Also, please note, with this setup you will need to mount your pump somewhere else. There seems to be enough room in the shallow part of the battery tray.

Port Injection Plate pending sale. PI Controller would still be available for sale. Will update listing when sale is finalized.

Does the Cobb Catted DP improve sound as well, i was looking into catless but noticed that this is high flow and catted so will be less of a hassle getting smogged and all that. Also, does it throw up any check engine lights or anything?
Thanks!

The Cobb Catted DP does improve sound. It's considerably louder under hard acceleration and cold start. It's not much louder while decelerating. For me, it did throw a CEL which my MHD bypassed so I never saw it unless MHD was uninstalled.
