Cadillac Escalade Bumper Damage Repair

Happy New Year to everyone.

My New Years eve was a little bit sad since I had a small accident with the Escalade. I would like to ask since I never had a similar damage before, if this damage of the bumper is repairable or I should change the whole bumper? The bumper is plastic.

There is no hole or crack just simple deep surface scratches.

skim coat any indetations/imperfections and a respray.

Wipe off the paint transfer with some lacquer thinner. That will get you a better idea of what's going on. Since it's a dark color you might be able to get away with some wet sanding and buff. If it was white I would say color is needed but dark color...might get away with out. Worst case you clean it, buff it and realize it needs color.

thank you guys! the good news as far as I understand is that probably it doesn't need to replace the whole bumper.
