BMW Performance Seats & Steering Wheel With Orange Stitching

Just received my BMW Performance sports seats and steering wheel type II with matching orange stitching. They were special made from BMW Performance Parts thrugh BMW M GmbH.

Can't wait to fit them on my car

Items look great, however, that's not the type II steering wheel...that's the regular flat-bottom performance steering wheel.

Types I and II are the electronic versions of the performance steering wheel.

I love the seats! How much did they cost? Do they integrate airbags? What type of adjustments do they have (just tilt and slide or do they go up and down too?)? Thanks in advance for the info!

u can just gotta have someone from germany send them BMW wont send them as they never were tested for safety checks in US

I want a set of these.... except using the M Performance Steering wheel II with the blue stripe. How much did this cost? How can this be ordered? May need my buddy in Munich to order them for me......

You can...not sure if they are still available but there is a company that imports them and lists them on eBay. They set you back a little over $5000 and they require special programming and module (for the built in airbags) since they are not made to work with US-spec cars.

I considered them at one point and someone who got them to work on his M3 was charging $2000 to make them work with a US car. They are nice, but $7000 total is way too much for seats in my eyes.

The grey plastic parts need to be painted black.
I would be interested to know what you payed for them like this. (same for the steering wheel) You can sent me a PN if you want.
