Hello,

i've been around for a while now and i think it's time to introduce myself.
this forum has gave me a lot of help with my car build so if you guys need help with urs, im here and if i can help, i will.

I'm from Spain, so apologies for my written english.

My car is a 2012 bmw 1M hardly modified. Now it's a track tool. I'm not going to write all the mods list because it's too long and i will forget something for sure.

Here som pics. Will appreciate your comments.
Have a nice day

Sure.
Cooling mods are:
- CSF watercooler
- Hell kit for the oil radiator. It's a full kit with new thermostat, lines,... Placed it in the stock place, but modified the grill. I attach some photos that shows it.
- Cooling brake lines. It's an important upgrade too.
- Wagner EVO2 intercooler
- 5-w40 Red Line oil

With this mods, cooling issues has completely gone. Car runs fresh and strong.

Very nice!
I have a similar setup with oil cooler, custom fit by a local N54 guru (AD Engineering is in my city). 170F thermostat, larger lines and double sized radiator. He fitted protective shields directly to the cooler which mate perfectly to the front bumper (ramp removed) and larger opening in the fender. It is fully sealed so all air passes through the radiator with no escape to the side. I run a 450wtq/380whp (285kw) tune at the track and never see oil temps over 260.

Someone asked about your fitment and finish….here is how mine looks front and back…..

This is the cleanest setup I've seen bar none.
It's tempting to drive the car up from NorCal to get the same work done on mine although without a tune maybe it's overkill.

I never had overheating issues on track until running a tune. The oil was the only issue. Water temps are fine on stock setup, running 40% coolant 60% water with redline water wetter.
