These "highly educated engineers" also gave us a crappy HPFP, a 3rd brakelight that falls off, shitty fuel injectors, horrible stock wheel offsets, water coolers which break with inexcusable frequency, easy limp mode overheats, a DCT with its own issues, and the list goes on. The BMW design team that approved of the etchings also gave us big ugly bug eye headlights, bangle butts, horrible "flame surfacing" which makes the car look like it has a beer belly, an "eyebrow" which has a different color temperature light output than the angel eyes, and they decide to keep the etchings and not even upgrade the angel eyes to the 3 and 5 series LCI blue ones. Real geniuses, right?

You can see the turn signals just fine on my car, and every non-LCI car. Looks ugly as shit for minimal functionality. LEDs could have done the same thing, instead of keeping the halogen turn signal bulb with the etching.

It was a photoshop Sorry to disappoint, but I wanted some "unbiased" opinions, instead of the usual "looks crap", "crap PS job" etc etc.

I will probably get these made for fun and I will post some real life pics and if anyone is interested I can get some made as well
