Nice guy 'eh? Everyone on the list should call him and ask about it. And car dealers wonder why they get a bad rap.

WOW!!! Really, $87K? WTF? How much do you think someone would actually pay for a 1M?

Demand has leveled off?? Cars dont last a day in the showroom, thats if they make it to the showroom. The demand will only increase as the last of them trickle in.

What do you mean at msrp? It was a privet seller and he paid $64 for the car himself.

I'm not sure about the private seller part, since the phone number googles to his dealership number. yes, of course he could have bought it for himself, and flipped it. It was posted with 17 miles so that sounds like a speculator to me. Plus, he is riding the coattails of his dealership by posting the number. Maybe it's me reading more into it.

If the market demand was still high then others would have been clamouring over it.

From what I was told the guy bought the car for his wife at $10K over and the wifey did not want the car,so now is is trying to sell it. He also mentioned he drove from the dealership home (17) miles and the car will not be driven until sold. I guess he thought $87K was a good and reasonable asking price.

Busted flipper

It's good that this obvious flip has some margin in it. My Sales Associate will need the funds to bridge him to his next job.

I remember that this guy posted a thread here on 1addicts with his phone #. I called and said.... Hi.. I am calling about the 1M... and your price..... and then left a laugh that would have made Vincent Price reconsider his Thriller cackle as neeeding another take to best mine.

If you are in fact the GM for BMW of Mt View that's a pretty classy 1st post, threatening someones job on a public forum for selling their own car.....frankly if it were me you would be the one looking for funds to bridge you to your next job and then some. What a douche!
