Interior Whistle Sound

I have an annoying interior whistle at speed, it started out only being audible above 80mph but now its pretty much anything above 30mph. Its coming from the upper passenger side of the windshield it seems. I assume something is defective with the windshield gasket/Trim? Anyone else have this problem- fixed it without having to get a new windshield?

I had a whistle sound start recently, as well. I’ve narrowed it down to when I have the ventilation fan blowing is when I hear the whistle.

I’m thinking a window seal is getting old so the increased internal cabin pressure is finding a way out.

I have the same problem, at the same location (high up on the passenger side of the car.)
I just bought the car 3 months ago, and noticed that the previous (original) owner took it in for service and complained of the same thing, and it was remedied under warranty. I'll have to swing by the dealer and ask what was done, and if it can be redone.

I found my windshield noise source and fixed it.

As part of replacing the valve cover gasket on an n55, one has to remove one of the wiper arms and then move the firewall trim out of the way. Looks like the plastic trim at the bottom of the windshield slipped out of place and was causing the noise.

Fix: no need to remove the wiper arm since there are wide rubber seals around the wiper actuator shafts. Just push down on the trim piece (towards engine) to compress the rubber seals then push the upper edge of the trim against the glass and let it slide up into place. There's a square channel in the trim that fits into the bottom edge of the windshield.
