Very True....

Sounds like I am just going to go with the mods I have and see how it feels.. I will also get a dyno run in to see the true results....

Thanks for your input.....

Installs were all very easy and took about an hour to do the intake SSTT and BOV...

Thanks to Split second, AFE and Ultimate Racing for suppling great products that fit perfectly and work great...

By the way the BOV sounds awsome... If you want a nice looking piece taht is functional and sounds great call up Ultimate Racing....

So whats the deal with JB3 and downpipes on a v81, would catted downpipes lesson the risk of detection due to less flow then catless pipes, also Riss Catted DP's neck down to 2.5 inches after the cats, any thoughts?

^^^Good question. I know that Terry recommends against using catless DP's, but I am not sure if what the stance is regarding catted.

I believe he said catless downpipes were not recommended just on v81 ecu because of the new anti-tuner software with the torque limit.

Exactly. The JB3 would detune (nerf?) the extra mid-range torque produced by the catless DP's to remain undetected. Terry is taking a poll right now to determine if people would be interested in a v81/29.2 map. But, again, since the catted produce less, would they work well?
