I almost did the same thing. I absolutely love the 710s as well! I'm just weird, and I have always loved perfect symmetry for some reason so the 701s were a godsent for me! When I saw the Gloss Black option my jaw hit the floor.

I NEED them! NEED them NOW!

Ok... So they literally shipped on Friday and they are ON THE TRUCK FOR DELIVERY today! I live in suburban Raleigh, NC; and FedEx somehow got 200 pounds of bolt-on beauty across the country from VMR in 3 weekdays! They weren't originally supposed to arrive until Thursday, but they have made up 2 days in shipping! Amazing!

Now I'm up early, tools ready, new non-marring socket, black lug studs, and BMW wheel locks; waiting for the *knock*. I think I'm (*cough cough*) too sick to go into work today... Oh darn.

Thank you FedEx! Thank you VMR!

Next post will be pics!

FedEx delivered them just before 8pm (EST) and I just finished mounting them. It took me 3 hours because I hit a snag... The fitment was perfect, but mine were custom powdercoated, so the center bore hugged too tightly to the wheel hub. There was no way to just slide them on, especially in the front. I luckily had a fine grit flexible sanding block, so I sanded off all of the surface debris from the wheel hub, and the powder coat from inside the center bore behind the cap. I was then able to really muscle it on to staying put, then I put in all of the lug studs loosely and began tightening them down over and over again until it finally seated itself. It had me really worried for a second.

I really do admit that the rims look absolutely breathtaking. I was in total disbelief when I finally stood back and looked at them. To my luck, I looked over a 1M this past week and the VMR fitment matches it exactly. Well done!

I finished at midnight, so I have no pics just yet. But they will be posted soon! The mounting and balance job with the Hankook's is perfect as well! I can tell VMR really took time and pride into working with my order! I hope you guys go far!

Pics to come...

Can't wait to see how they end up looking in photos! Yeah, with the powder coated wheels, sometimes they fit VERY snug against the hub. Luckily for you that just means that there's no chance of vibrations from a hub that's slightly too large.

OK OK! I've been lazy and not posting or taking a single photo yet (sorry), but I was planning on getting the perfect setting to take them and have been too busy to get out there lately. The pics are coming!

Still haven't gotten to my ideal setting yet I've been so busy. I want to get it sometime when I'm at work at the airport, there's a nice urban looking empty parking deck I could use that's dimly lit, just perfect. I've been so busy that the only way I even got a chance to put the rims on was when I stayed out till past midnight working at it. The downside of working two jobs.
