So does anyone know the official specs for the european weighing system?
Let's say if passenger, luggage, and 10 gallons of gas weigh 90kg, then the dry weight of the car is 1480 kg, or 3256 lbs (roughly). That's not bad. And for those complaining about lack of power, let's wait for some dyno results. I wouldn't be surprised if it, just like some of the 135s, puts down the advertised crank horsepower at the wheels. Obviously they would never commit sales suicide by advertising it as faster than the m3, but we'll see what the real deal is once the magazines get their hands on one.

So, these numbers sound like they roughly translate to:
~3461 lbs curb weight (Edit- this is wrong- it's actually ~3290 lbs). 335 hp 369 lb-ft with overboost ~75.6% of the price of an M3 sedan in Germany, so ~$41,882 MSRP US?

The specs suggest that they haven't really done anything more/different to the engine compared to the 'is' models. Weak.

- 68 kg for the driver - 7kg for luggage - 90% fuel since me thinks that E87 tank has approx. 55 L capacity that would mean 50 kg So in sum this translates to a dry weight of 1570 - 68 - 7 - 50 = 1445 kg ^= 3183 lbs |
