Great news man. Can't wait to finally see how it looks and more importantly, hear how it drives.

Looking forward to more pictures to see the kit better!

Also, appears you're doing this to your 1MV8?

This is my second e82. V8 car is just getting maintenance and a 4.10 gt4 diff. Just small things on that one.

It's been coming. Just a lot of behind the scenes stuff. I spent a good amount of time working with AST Suspension to design the coilovers for this and bodywork was a pretty involved process which DTM nailed perfectly. While the Raze GT parts themselves are ofvery high quality and fit very well, we had to smooth out the finish and paint nearly the entire car so it looks 100%. DTM are the experts at aftermarket kits and don't cut any corners. Their skill and pride in their work is why I had to choose a body shop 6 hours from where I live.

I'm flying down to LA tomorrow to get the car and then I will have regular updates as it gets assembled with VT Motorworks, Carbahn (Steve Dinan) and TC Design.

Dinan and revozport both just sent some pretty defining parts over and it's all going to get really fun. This car will be very different than all the other e82's and will pack a lot of spirit.

Will follow the updates. Not working with Perf Technic this time around? Also what powerplant is this E82 getting? Another S65?

The two mastertechs who built my first car at Performance Technic have since opened their own shop VT Motorworks in Pleasanton. These are the guys who masterfully built my car, spent so many late nights on it and really shared in my enthusiasm about it. Yes we are building cars but at the end of the day, much of this hobby is about people, and these are two people who supported my projects heavily and I am honored to support them in their next stage as shop owners.

I really like it so far. Actually kind of wondering what it would look like on a black car.
