Guesstimate on power levels
Howzit everyone.
Just picked up this 2013 135i and have no idea what kinda power it is making. Previous owner didn't say when he sold it. What do you think, given the mods, it is running? JB4 Tune KW Coilovers Variant 3 BMS oil catch can BMS catless downpipe 3.5" StopTech Drilled and slotted rotors Apex ARC-8 Rims 235/40/18 fr 265/35/18 back Pilot Super Sport tires Evo Racewerks Charge Pipe Eiback fr and rear sway bars Cusco Tower struts AEM pod gauges VRSF 7.5" FMIC Haven't had the opportunity to really drive it much, waiting on tags, and should pick it up on Tuesday. I don't know which tune the JB4 is currently running so I realize it is wild speculation at this point. Mahalo |

You'll be hard pressed to find any actual dyno numbers on this forum, so it'll all be "Based on manufacturer".
I'd say you're making around 330whp and 375wtq

The brakes, suspension, swaybars, tires, strut bars, wheels, and gauges are good for at least 500hp.
So combining that with the other bolt-ons, I would say you're probably at a solid 750 to the wheels.

One hell of a wild ass guess without knowing what fuel you're using or the JB4 map.
Could be anything, even lower than stock.

Agreed. Which tune?
Whatever their #'s are, are probably correct. Generally I'd say they are overstated, but then you add the downpipe, FMIC, etc. and suddenly what they claim is probably indeed about what you'd see. |
