Cringeworthy Wheels that were on my car at time of purchase

Lexani R3 wheels....god. So heavy and so tacky. I didn't even want to drive the thing.

How it looks now:

18" VMR V810 on ST Coilovers. SO much better in every way.

Thought you guys would get a kick out of it! Cheers

Haha, much better now. Blacklines or tinted Pre-LCI tails?

Tinted but I'm not sure if they are pre-LCI? it's a 2011. Anyways, black lines are probably my next mod

I honestly would not even consider a car that had those installed, who knows what other questionable decisions were made by the PO...

What a difference!!! Even the stock wheels would look better than those ugly ones. Those VMR's are great looking wheels. And at a good price. I love my Vader Black powdercoated VMR V701s.

Thanks! Overall I really like the St coilovers, they ride really well on the street and go plenty low enough. Definitely a good product for the price in my opinion. If I had one complaint I would say I would have liked them to be a little more firm. The ride is almost too similar to the stock m-sport suspension for me. I may get some linear springs in the future but we'll see.

The rest of the car is really clean. The PO is a knowledgeable guy who told me everything I wanted to know and let me look at whatever I wanted to. He just made a mistake in wheel choice.... Lol.

It's still under warranty and will be for the next three years. I've had it checked out by my local dealer. I know every mod on the car and have receipts or stock parts for everything that was modded. I'm 100% confident in this car and it'll be truly mine once I do a few more cosmetic things to make it look 100% how I want it to look.

Trust me, I was apprehensive at first but I'm glad I did it. Those wheels may be God awful to guys like us but I sold them in 6 hours on my local Craigslist to the owner of an unlucky 328i.

And yes, I will be trimming the lip

Cheers

Cool, I figured you would have done your due diligence and didn't mean to imply otherwise. Looks great, have fun with her.
