BMW coding options

Hey im looking to have about 6 or 7 options coded on my 08 135i (disable tpms, fold on lock, etc)

Im just wondering what the best option out there, is there any preffered companies that do this at a good price? Or should i try and do it myself?

Thanks

depending on what you need coded, carly app can do a lot of it pretty easily.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like carly can disable tpms but can do a lot of other stuff you may want.

If this is your main concern its going to be difficult. You could contact carly or another third party coder and see if they will write some code to do this, but otherwise you'll need to go to a shop that has a much more in depth scanner and coder (and really know what they're doing with them). On top of that its not actually legal for a shop to disable safety warnings, like airbags, TPMS sensors and stuff like that as far as I know. (I've asked several shops to turn off my airbag warning light as I've removed all of the bags, but no shop will do it even though its a stripped/caged car that never sees anything but track anymore).

So I'm left with good luck with this, hopefully someone else has more useful advice than me.

I haven't used a remote coder, but there are a few reputable ones over at e90post.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1209304 and
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=642265
says they definitely do tpms deletes.

You can also try to find a local that does coding.

Only not legal in areas where those features are required by law. In Canada, TPMS is not a legal requirement like it is in the US (apparently our gov't believes we know how to check our tire pressures. ) so it is perfectly legal to disable it.
