headlight nozzle cover

Hey guys on my way to work this morning pull on the headlight/windsheild cleaning system as had pollen all over my windshield.... hear this clunk and start looking in my rear view to check and see what is going on or if anything had fallen off. i dont see anything bouncing on the hwy so i wait to get to work (just a couple min) to take a look. get there and i see the nozzleover has popped off my car!!! it looks horrendous and i am in the process of trying to contact my service advisor to see if this would be covered under warrenty! anyone have this happen or have any other ideas? ive seen it more comon with the 3 series but never heard of it with the 1er....

Something like that and it being covered under warranty will vary per service advisor. I would bring it in and just tell them it flew off. Dont say you touched or tampered with it. Just say you have no idea what happened, it was there, then gone and maybe they will replace it. It seems like a simple fix, but the headlight washer caps do need to be painted.

Thanks for the info. Im in contact with two service advisors one who says wouldnt be under warranty and another who says i probably is. will play it out see which can do better for me as is a deffect should be covered. and i just ment pulled on toggle inside car sorry for not being clear.
