Does anyone have pics of VMR's Solar Rain Flake powdercoat? Im considering V710's in that color on my montego blue metallic, and mounted pics would possible seal the deal for me.

E87 with 261m rims.

Tires Falken FK453 (great tyre btw.)
225-40 front, and 255-35 rear...

As always with OEM rims and this combo, no rubbing etc.

Matte bronze VMR V701 18x8.5 ET45 front and 18x9.5 ET50 rear
Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear
Stock MSport Suspension and no camber or fender modifications. Bone stock bolted right up.

Both rears rub on almost any bump at a moderate speed. The wheels are being switched for Alufelgen CS7s in 1series fitment which should fit better and completely get rid of the rubbing issue. Its only 4mm difference in outside wheel position, but 4mm will make a world of a difference if youre just rubbing on the tire shoulder a tad.

I'm actually surprised you are rubbing, must be the very square edges of the PSS tires?

I am looking at getting the VMR V701 & PSS tires. I have the M Sport suspension as you do.

Do you think the fender rub would be eliminated with 255 at the back? Also, how close are you to the suspension/struts with that setup?

Precisely why you should always buy pilot super sports in 255 and not 265...they run bigger than any other tire

Yes pilot super sports are like big shoes, order a size smaller. I had numerous ppl saying make sure you go 255 in rear fitment with MPSS tires. I ordered: 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 for my forgestars

So is that on 8.5 & 9.5 wheels?

They don't look stretched at all?

I can get some pics when I get them on the car but no, not really. They look good.

Everyone I spoke with said 265 in MPSS will be an issue unless you roll your fenders....and even then may rub. 255 should be good

330i Style 162. Rear tires rub when going up steep driveways. I'm going to downsize and get 245's in the rear.

Front: 18x8
Offset: 34
Tire: 225/40-18
Spacers: none

Rear: 18x8.5
Offset: 37
Tire: 255/35-18
Spacers: none
