HK Equalization Settings.. what's best overall?

Hey all...
I just put my .02 on the overall quality of the HK upgraded stereo for the 2011 135i in that thread..

I have questions about the general consensus among fellow 1ers regarding equalization settings for BOTH the stereo and the iPod.
I did a search already and only found info about iPod settings.

What's the best EQ setting for the stereo for overall listening? ...mostly rock music with iPod (compressed at 128 kbs?)

Do you keep "surround" on or off?

Do you fade the stereo slightly to the rear? or keep in centered front/rear?

Any magical combinations of stereo/iPod settings?

I don't want to mess with the EQ everytime I listen to a diff style of music or quality of recording...I would like to set it and leave it somewhere where everything would sound most optimal.

What's your preference for these settings?

Thanks for any opinions!
