Brake light wont go off after new pads, rotors, sensor

Hi Guys,
I just swapped out the rear pads, rotors, and replaced the sensor on my 09 135i (Less than 20 miles driven on them) and the brake light and car lift image on the dash have not disappeared. Has anyone experienced this yet?

I spoke with my service "advisor" at the local dealer but he just said to bring it in...of course. Maybe they need to reset it with the key or something, but figured I'd check in with you guys.

Get an OBD II reader/reset tool....about 80 bucks for a good one with reset feature.

You have to reset it. That little black plastic dail in the left bottom corner of the tachometer. Turn the turn the power on but do not start the car. Hold it down until you see a triangle with a explanation point. Then you will see all your service items. Select the one you want to reset with the stalk then press and hold the bc button on your stalk and it should reset.

Most likely you did something to the wires or the sensor itself. I always replace the sensor when doing the pads.

Chainging the pads alone has no effect on the sensor or sensor signal.

My car is an 08 128i with 18K miles and after sitting for a while the ABS light would come on last time I took it to the dealer they replaced a sensor and cost $200. Can I clean the sensors? do I need to clean all 4? any help is appreciated, thanks
