Alex, I'm still waiting for you to get back to me about my 7000k HID bulbs being different temperatures. One looks 7000k and the other looks 8000k. You told me you would send me new bulbs. Please get back to me. Thanks

i MAY be putting up my HID setup with custom brackets for a clean install up for sale soon though guys! nothing wrong at all with them and i LOVE them but the cops in my area are really strict and i'd rather just go back to a LED setup and not be scared driving at night! lol |

Cops can not, and will harass you do to your HID Angel Eyes, it is purely cosmetic.
Cops will place a white sheet of paper on the floor 10 feet from the car, if any color from yellow to white does not shin on that paper, that can be a ticket, but since your Angel Eyes are Cosmetic only, you will not be harassed. I have sold over 200 units, and never heard a complaint about any cops. Quote:

i'm in no way knocking your product Alex, as a matter of fact i LOVE them and you have been the BEST vendor i've ever worked with BY FAR! but i live in a really small town with a lot of cops always rolling around pulling over nice cars and i don't want ANY attention from them at all anymore. |

Dude, could you please handle this through a pm and remove that post? I never got a message back from paypal about this.
All ur doing now is making me look bad. I've been a part of so many group buys in these forums and this is the first time paypal has done this to me. Last edited by Garduna; 08-24-2010 at 10:46 PM.. |

BTW, does one need to disconnect the power/battery?
Any other helpful tips would be great, the video was a bit murky.

I'm assuming you do have to disconnect the battery for the sake of safety, since you're wiring it up straight to the battery terminals in the engine bay. I'm doing my install tomorrow morning (hopefully) so if there's anything particularly troublesome or something I want to point out, I'll post it on here. Maybe someone else can chime in with other tips prior to my install to help me out as well?

briefing: install is simpler than i thought. me and my homeboy used the install videos streaming thru my hd2 as a guide while installing. we did it without disconnecting the battery, used a towel to hold the wires when connecting to the power and ground terminal for safety, loosen up some bolts to loop wiring a bit, plug em up and flush the wiring. the caps were the main hard part i'd say.
