Hiccup in datalog during 3rd gear WOT run
Just did a MHD logging run with the parameters available without the MHD flash (forgot to enable the HPFP parameter), i felt a slight hiccup around 2900 which can be seen here, any idea what that could be?
Zoomed in view of the hiccup and AFR changes in that moment: https://datazap.me/u/igralec/n54-sto...-20&zoom=0-128 Also noticed AFRs don't drop to ~235 when releasing throttle very quickly and not both banks, could that be leaky injectors or maybe bad O2 sensors on the donwpipes? Forgot to turn the DSC off though, but doesn't look like it intervened anywhere apart from a random throttle dip. Car is stock apart from an upgraded charge pipe, coilpacks are 2k miles old, spark plugs around 10k miles old. |

Interesting, did another run today with DSC fully off this time and it didn't happen, but there is a slight throttle closure again at 4300rpm. Today the AFR on both banks was more in sync when going off throttle, although the difference is probably because one bank was replaced during the recall.

I'm pretty sure the AFR spike to 200+ is normal when letting off throttle end of a pull, and happens to me all the time. Hope stage 1 works out for you!

Yeah it should shoot up quickly and both banks in sync, bank 1 is sometimes a bit slower, might be a tired lambda on bank 1, need to check which one that is, grey or black.
Stage 1 now for a little over a week, all seems good so far, almost no timing corrections and if any, it's just one cylinder at a time. Fuel trims all negative, long term ones couple of %, short terms under -10%, maybe because i have the 98ron map, but the fuel is actually 100ron over here? According to the torque value in the log, i gained 75lb/ft torque, not bad at 15.6psi. And the throttle closure that used to happen on stock map for some reason at 4300rpm is now gone. Was definitely worth it Last edited by Dme3; 07-04-2020 at 05:05 PM.. |
