Yoko Advan AD08

Just got a set of SF-71 19x8 ET 45 19x9 ET 48. im looking to get AD08 tires and I want to run 235/35 F 265/30 R but im hearing the the AD08s run wider then normal. I got a set of Eibach spings which lower it 1" i believe all around. Im trying to avoid a fender roll. So with this wheel setup i have and the AD08s which tire sizes would be best? Since they run wide should I just go 225/35 255/30?

I'd def go with 225 and 255. I have 235 and 265 on Nittos and they rub sometimes..if they were any wider they wouldnt work.

what wheels you have? offsets? and are you lowered? I really wna the nittos but they dont come in 255/30 only 265/30 or i will have to go with a taller tire with 255/35. they have the fronts though lol

Advan Rz 18's at 8/45 9/50
tires are 235 and 265
Looking at ur offsets i wouldnt try these tires unless ur not lowered too much.
I'm pretty slammed.

Its only Eibach springs so its not a major drop. looks like AD08s is the only one that come in 225/255 with 19s. may just have to man up and pay the heafty price :-( lol

The AD08 are the best tire i have ever had. i LOVE them......But in your case with the 19"rims and the lowered stance i would NOT NOT buy the AD08 unless you were on a stock suspension. They run wide and square...you will be scratching your balls forever trying to figure out how to stop the rubbing.. And you will be sorry !! The only way would be to have a drastic fender roll and PULL to fit these with a lowered car, but IMO pulled fenders that go to far ruin the look of the car..You can only roll so far before the fender starts to pull away from the bumper...

with the ADO8s i would go 225/35 and 255/30 since they run wide. What sizes do you have on your wheels?

Eibachs are way lower in the front than the H&R's. And I tuck tire on 18's.

I have the AD08's 19's in 225/255......the fronts will be fine...the rear will still rub....even at very close to stock ride height I rub on the rear in big dips and going up entrance ramps to gas stations/restaurants, etc, etc....tires have great grip and look great though!

What offsets? You lowered? Or have a fender roll?

The key to having any chance of running AD08's without a rub is not to lower your car. Even then, on a stock suspension it took me 2 rolls a slight pull and a mild shave where the fender meets the bumper to eliminate 98% of the rub. Now i am hitting the felt fender liner rather than the fender( on LARGE dips).. other 2%( a much better sound). The AD08 are amazing and in my case needed for performance as well as looks..rounded sidewalls on 245 or 255 size tires on a 9.5 0r 9" rim will make the tires look stretched...something that was not acceptable to me..The AD08 are square and wide and do not look stretched...also the AD08 sidewalls are stiff like the RFT so steering is improved rather than the opposite like some tires with softer sidewalls that flex..Would i buy the AD08's again...indeed !!
The photo is PRIOR to my fender roll....

Exactly what IZAGLO says...though slightly curious about the "performance" comment on 19's?? Granted my first HPDE's was done on 19's but I would go the opposite direction doing it for performance (17's or 18's). That being said he is spot on regarding how well these tires are for grip and traction. I am very slightly lowered but not as much as I would like to be due to how wide these tires sit. I would have shaved my fenders but finding someone to do it outside of SoCal, Florida, or Chicago to do it is a PITA to be honest, so for the last couple of years I have just been dealing with the rub over big dips and being careful

How much is "slightly" lowered? like an 1" or 1.5"?

I agree Adrian that 17' or 18" for performance are better than 19" proven fact..Basically what i meant was i was looking for a tire that had amazing grip..did not looked stretched..and had steering response better than the RFT..I like stiff sidewalls and many tires have soft sidewalls... and having experienced first hand the difference in sidewalls it was a MUST to get something stiff without flex.
So , yes going 19" it was MORE important to me to get a great performing tire to make up for the difference than putting on 18"....17 IMO are to small for the car in looks and would only use that size in snow tires or drag radials.

I dunno the exact amount of inches/mm/cm...I don't have the paperwork here in Iraq to look at...I do know that I had to get my mechanic to put it back to stock ride height and then he lowered it very slightly (from my recollection). It is definitely less than 1.5inches though. Look at my signature or here: You can kinda see here (remember the passenger side wheel/tire always sticks out more on the passenger side than drivers side...little BMW trivia ): Remember me? by Adrean8j, on Flickr

Sweet that makes 2 of us that is deployed.. I may just go hankook V12s. they run narrower then most tires. Seems like the tire most people go with when they have 19s and lowered.

According to the description in modbargins the H&R sport springs are approx. 1.4" F and 1.3" R lower then stock. Also I hear alot about how H&R tend to have alot of "rake". The Eibach pro kit are even all around. Approx 1.2" lower. Again this is coming from modbargins.

There is no way the Eibachs are even all round - it is way lower at the front.

yep. when i did eibachs, they were at least 1/2" lower in the front than the rear. i thought the front height was good, but the rear height didn't seem to drop much from OEM. allowed time to settle, but it never really came down in the rear.

Really?
I did not know that.

Why is that?
Is that both the front and rear?
