^^^ What he said. I'd be quite impressed if your thread title was true, though. I've only gone up to 80 so far.

Well, the original thread title was "<100 mph" (i.e. less than 100 mph) for the first time, and it would've been impressive if he'd never gone slower than 100 mph. My attempt at humor doesn't make any sense now that the title has been corrected to "greater than."

I have had mine for about a month...
broke 115 a couple weeks ago for like a split second... Was actually kind of shocked because I thought I was going 80 and that had me thinking it was too much since I only have 550miles on it... the speed sneaks up |

Get use to it, and be aware of it. Feels great to wind out the gears, but by the 2nd shift you can kiss your license good bye.
I actually got 28mpg on my 135i today. Not to shabby?

At 150, it feels like it floats around a little bit... The somewhat quick steering doesn't help that either as it's easily to over-correct.

Not compared to my TT. That car was rock solid at high speed and the steering was perfect. Note: my TT had KW V3 coilovers and the steering was modified to accept the original lower control arm bushings, which are half the diameter of the ones Audi replaced them with.

Hi bski, You are right about the whoop-de-dos down by Cedar Beach/Oak Beach. I usually take it easy there. On of my favorite things to do is to trail break into the sweeping right hander that leads up to the Robert Moses (by Captree). Blipping down through the gears from 6th to 3rd and then nailing it as I get up on to RMC. I saw a 1er 128 vert (TiAg) two Sundays ago at Burns Park in Massapequa and I saw a AW 135 coupe on Cherry St. in Hicksville the same day I picked up my car. That is it!
