Saw a black 1er, I think a 135i, in Lexington on Waltham St. in front of Clark Middle School heading towards Rt. 2 around 6pm today. Would have flashed my lights but the car had already passed by the time I noticed.
Also saw a silver 135i in Chicago on Sunday westbound on Lake St. near Canal, but I doubt it was anybody here. :-p |

Today she had her 15K mile service and when I walked out to get her, I thought maybe they'd switched cars on me. Her wheels were sooooo clean and shiny I needed sunglasses. She was also diagnosed with the convertible roof tear problem and my SA is going to contact BMWNA to get a warranty replacement. I told him to send photos because it's a problem that a bunch of people are reporting online and that all of them look the same. He said we'd just keep that between us. I'm not so sure about that, but I'll worry about it if they give me grief about replacing it. And then on the drive to work someone flagged me down and told me my back tire looks like it's wobbling. I'm waiting to hear back from my SA about whether they rotated the tires. I looked at her when I parked her and I didn't see a bubble on the tire (which has caused that reaction before) but I parked in the garage and the light wasn't the best. amy! |

Well, the vert just has this one problem with a tiny wear hole on the C-pillars.
The "wobble" is just a run-flat issue - it's really a potential bubble. But I got a good look at the tires later and don't see a bubble. I think the guy who flagged me over was smoking something. SA confirmed that they did not rotate tires. Neither are as bad as HPFP. amy! |

1) Close encounter with Gina at about 7am...
2) Two cars behind an SGM(/red?) 135 that turned into the Cushing Square Starbucks at 7am (minutes after I left Gina). Had a Herb Chambers badge on the back that was painful to look at, so I'm thinking it's not pheller but that other mystery SGM owner in Belmont? amy! |
