What's the update on these? Anyone get this conversion done? Seems like the LEDs are by far better than the halogen option (so cheap looking).

LCI Tails are not yet available in the parts system.

We'll be keeping an eye on this for when it is released.

So this would be future arrangements? Considering the parts arent even available yet for the LED tailights?

Who said the parts aren't available? They are available at my local dealer! Just take those part numbers and have your dealer look them up!

None in the US, only a few sets in Germany.

Edit: Things may have changed, more info shortly.

The extra cost of the foot-well module is a bit off-putting

they should become available to dealerships this week. i would think or at least from the information i was told...

i just noticed this morning on my 2012 135, just before i was about to take it for delivery, about an inch of water and significant condensation on my passenger-side rear tail light. apparently no one knows whether it was through the EPA or Transport or from the factory. Nonetheless, they ordered out the replacement tail light today and it should be in by tomorrow or wednesday. They obviously weren't going to have it in stock yet but they said they would be able to have it fixed and replaced asap.

on a side note, the new lights look SICK in person!

I really do not get it guys. If you want these new lights... just order them thru your dealer of choice. BMW will get you the parts. EVEN if there aren't any in the USA. Once they come, put them on your car. End of story. What is so hard about all of this??? (other than the coding part!)

Not sure about any other footwell modules on the car, but looks like its $400... (Footwell Module 3) if you have to upgrade that is.

No reason for the newer FRM, any independent equipped with an autologic programmer can program the existing FRM module.
