My Dinan 135i is Still Quicker!
M1 at 335 H.P. vs. 135i Dinan at 408 H.P.
The M1 is awesome! I've heard the price is about $100k. If Dinan comes out with a performance package for the M1... now then it would be a must buy situation. By-the-way, where do I list for sale items on the Forum? I have new 18X8.5 and 18X7.5 Breyton Race GTS-R wheels with Yokohama S-Drive tires (215/40R18 and 245/35R18) to sell. Only have 967 miles on them. I paid about $2,200 with shipping via the Tire Rack (tires mounted on the new wheels). I'm buying the 19X8.5 BE Breyton GTSAV Hyper wheels which look exactly alike, with 4 of the 225/35R19 XL Yokohama S-Drive tires. The S-Drives look soooo good too! Anyone have any advice about the pros and cons of my change of wheels and tires? The 18's look awesome! I must be bored or crazy to change to the larger 19" wheels and tires, but I love to waste money... hopefully for a better appearance, I'm not an aggressive driver! Would anyone reccommend that I lower my 135i about an inch, rather than buy the 19" tires and wheels? I appreciate any advice. |

I was at the dealer the other day checking to see if I could order yet (I have a deposit down). He showed me an official notification from BMW that ED will start in June.

What about BMW CCA Rebate? I'm assuming the 1M would qualify for $500? |

I've ordered one and had planned on playing safe with the Alpine White, but I just went to the Detroit Autoshow today and the Orange is really rather sensational!!
Might have to be bold..................! |

They did, on the 135. Please do a search as there are at least three good reasons why the dct is not on the 1m. Excessive drivetrain heat (not good for a track car), added weight ( not ideal for a track car), and they would have to crash test it got federalization ( two expensive for a one year run of cars in a limited edition model). |

Found out last weekend that there are new OBD regulations that go into effect in Jan. So 1M production for the US should end in December...and the reason the car will be a 2011.

I sent my sales rep an email yesterday asking when they were going to get one in their showroom, he said not until November.
I leave here next month |

Depends who you believe... Some say BMW won't even be able to fill the existing pre-orders. Some say there will be plenty to meet demand. If you're sure you want one, I'd suggest getting an order in sooner rather than later.
