Awsome driving skills!

8.15 is a complete lap of the 1M. BTG time would be about 7.55
BTG is about 20 sec. 7.50 csl is complete lap. BTG should be 7.30 for the CSL. No way an original CSL drives 25 sec faster then a 1M on the Nring. With semi s on the 1M i highly doubt it would be faster. 7.50 time of the CSL is no video proof off also. It s the most hyped Nring time ever. This movie shows that the CSL is not much faster then a 1M. CSL in this movie is also more trackfoccussed. Maybe there is something into the drivers. But not 25 secs. |

I knew the 'official' 8:15 time posted by Sport Auto would be toppled eventually... and now we wait!
Great driving BTW!

Sport Auto laptimes are not about the best possible time, otherwise they would put a younger, faster driver in the chair. Their laptimes are about comparable times with the same driver on the same track. |

i think it should be mandatory for people to fix a second camera focused on the dials so we can have a picture in picture view for speed/tach reference as well ...

Amazing video (& driving!) Andre!!
Perhaps BMW really knows that the two cars are very close in lap times. Perhaps THAT is why BMW did not let the press drive the e46 csl in Spain when they did some "hot laps" with the M drivers in a 1M. They could drive any other M model but... Dackel PS: I am kicking myself for not coming yesterday to the 'Ring!!! Next time! |

Nice video Advevo! It is nice to see 1M video driven by a pro racer. Have you ever experienced heatsoak/limp mode issue with the car?
