In the latest issue of EVO a reader wrote in about a similar trip he and a friend did (p. 148-149). They started in Davos and "at the crack of dawn set off to tackle the ten passes: Flüela, Fuorn, Stelvio, Foscagno, Bernina, Julier, Oberalp, Furka, Grimsel and Brüng."

This is going to be an awesome multinational flavored BMW driving event...definitely material for the front page of Bimmerpost!

So as of today, looks like driving the Stelvio on the 17th (Sun) works best for all...is that correct? I'm close to finalizing a starting hotel that can accommodate all of us and our cars...

That's the difficult part as we have folks coming from so many places. Each of us will have to plan how best to do this and the time off of work situation. For me, I plan to drive down sat the 16 th, drive Stelvio on the 17th as that's when the majority can drive it and after that drive to Davos. Spend the night in/near Davos and work my way home. According to map quest, it's about 2-3 hours to Davos from Stelvio without stopping for photos/videos/food. So doable in one fun day of driving and then everyone can break off into smaller driving groups according to where home is....for me I'll be going up towards Liechtenstein and up to the black forest area.

As I stated a few posts above I will be heading south thru the black forrest on friday 15th and have an overnight stop in Andermatt CH. Saterday 16th depending on the weather I'll take the scenic route doing 5/6 passes or the more straight route to the gatering point, wherever that may be (Nauders?)

@ RICK, I don't wanna impose myself, but since whe're kinda heading back the same direction I'll be more than happy to be your "wingmate" (maybe holding you up is more accurate

Yeah, May is the Munich meet, June is the Alps drive, then the rest of the summer is Nurburgring!!!

And for some of us it all starts on the 27th of March by driving Spa with the Dutch BMW club...then like JK said, May 6th is the Welt and then 16,17,18 June is Stelvio.

Going to be some fun days!
