LCI BLACKLINE plug and play problem

I have the xenon lci blackline tail lights kit brand new just installed #63212225282
part numbers for each side
63217327273
63217327274

Problem is - the LH side plug and plays, RH side everything works, apart from the running lights/parkers which is what powers the LED strips. See photos

Anyone have an idea why? Could it be a defective light? I tried the RH side in the LH side and it doesn't work either. I tried changing bulbs everything and nothing works. Put my old ones back in, and the RH side parkers light up perfect.
I want to avoid having to add a wire from the number plate if I can. It should just plug and play. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Could be that the R is defective. Since you put you old ones and the parking lights were working fine. Even in thr pic where you stepped on the brakes w both blacklines on, the LED strip on the right didn’t light up.

Where did you buy them from?

ECS sells "scratch and dent" lights, and one of which said the "hockey stick" running light didn't work. That tells me it may be a common issue.

Apparently it can be 1 in every 50 that are defective and its mostly always the running lights (the stripes).

Got them from Kohl-Gruppe who are in Germany. I got the lights maybe 1 week or 1.5 weeks after I ordered (I'm in Australia). Ordered off their ebay page as they seemed to be a bit cheaper than Schiedmann. They were the cheapest online that I could find. Easy to deal with, I explained the issue and they sent me another one after their BMW technician investigated it.

Spoke to a guy in Germany with a 1er too who has the blacklines and he told me Kohl are a very reputable company in germany.

It could also have been that you put in the light bulb the 'wrong way'.
I had this as well- when I switched them around it all worked perfect.
