Falken Azenis RT660 255/35/18 (x2 brand new, never mounted)
I bought 4 RT660 255/35/18 for my BMW 135i. Unfortunately I just found out they are too wide as front tires for my car. These tires are WIDE. They just came in last week. The date code is 2321. Tirerack sells them for $258 each tire plus tax. That is $569.60 for two. I am selling them for $500 firm to recover the cost so I can purchase 235/40/18 as front tires. Local SF Bay Area pick up only. You can text me @ 408-930-6073 if interested. Just come pick them up and save yourself $70. Please don't negotiate. This is a great price already. Just curious, what size wheel and offset did you mount them on? Also, could your please tell me how much camber?

They were never mounted. They just arrived late last week. The RT660 are much wider than other tires like Michelin PS4S. I just research from the forum and realize they won't fit my front unless I have camber plates and roll the fenders.
I have Apex EC-7 wheels 8.5x18 front. Offset is 45. Only about -1.8 camber. I don't have camber plates yet. I am keeping the other two for the rear. The rear wheels are 9.5x18 offset 58. I see your signature is SoCal. I will only do local pickup. It does make sense to ship them due to additional shipping cost. |

I haven’t tried any setup yet. I just bought this 128i M Sport,100% stick driven a city gal in SF. I plan to build it as a streetable track car. I just want to test it as is to baseline the car first. That way, I can tell how each mod makes any difference on the track or not. I will start a build thread shortly. I plan to include my finding of each mod.
For the baseline testing, I plan to use Thunderhill raceway as a reference. This is the first track I learned track driving on 21 years ago. Even though I’ve been doing track days/club racing for 20+ years, it may still take me a event or two to be able to push it close to the limit for baselining. After that I’ll do one mod or two at a time and compare to my baseline. First thing first before I take it to the track, I’ll install an oil cooler from 135i, front brake from 135i and tires. I explained this because it will take awhile before t get to suspension mods and play with different setup. |
