Why does my car think my door is open???

Yesterday I had the audacity to pull the headlight switch and press the rear foglight button (prepping for the lego mod) to see if it actually worked. It worked great. Then I buttoned it back together looking factory fresh.

But now my car thinks my passenger door is intermittently opening and closing. The window will do its little drop/raise thing, and the dome light comes on, along with the screen warning and the warning ding. And this happens between every few minutes and every few seconds.

Also, twice, a warning came up that my car thought my key was missing (in my pocket) while I was driving.

Notionally, this seems like a Comfort Access problem, but who knows. In my brain, all these things are separate. But BMW has a way of turning system flows into spaghetti monsters.
