AU/EU 135i pinions use a different propshaft flange, so the pinion ends are different.

Does not apply to 335i's

You could always swap over to the 335i driveshaft flange, which would solve the issue.
I assume that's a cut and weld job though?

I believe the DCT may be different, but I will double check.

Sorry to be pedantic, but do you know of anyone who has done this? Any further details on the actual parts I need?

I would buy an LSD and new gearset tomorrow if I was 100% confident it would fit.

From what I've found, the 135i DCT does not have the same issue as the EU 135i MT.

I did a M3 conversion on my 135i, frankly unless you are MT and can get parts very cheap, dont do it.

The stock M3 unit is not worth it if you have to pay a lot for it, it is unpredictable, the pump mecanism wears over time and you get a lot of play in one of the output shafts.
It is worth it if you have a welded crown on your current diff, because of the cost conversion to bolted.
Otherwise go for a wavetrac or mfactory.
Of course if you want some real diffs options, then go for the M3 diff and upgrade it later to a real LSD, but that is going to cost you.

Also interested in this. Anything new in the last 5 or so years on LSDs, any new/different opinions on best for the money for a mostly street driven car that loses traction too often?
