Any way to bypass torque control on the 6AT 135i?

So apparently the 6AT versions of these cars have something called torque control, which is as I understand it, basically an always-on anti-fun nanny. The tqc cuts power to the drive wheels while the brakes are held down. Thanks to the tqc, the launch of our car will always suck for the first .5-1s until it fully disables, and burnouts past a tire squeal are near impossible due to the power cut.

Is there any known way to bypass this system entirely? It is incredibly annoying to have a car which performs near perfectly in nearly every scenario, but turns into an altima when you try to do a burnout or launch. Is the system software based or hardware? Can you code it out?

This is a better question for Terry on N54tech. Have you tried the trans flash?

Cross posted there.

No I don't have the trans flash. Do you mean the Alpina, or are there third party flashes too?

Alpina. People with it on their 6ATs are definitely brake boosting at the very least.

Where can we find the Alpina flash? I was searching but didn't come up with much.
