Engine coolant..? how frequent?

I might go back this friday to wear summer shoes and have the code checked

Not free. But very cheap. And yes trustworthy. Ask andrey_gta about him. He's pretty good. Alternatively, I think dimsum is another one on the east end. There's a couple reviews for him on the e90 post I believe.
