135i w/ E46 M3 Competition Package Rims?
Got a little curious this morning while eating breakfast and started browsing Tisher. Came across the E46 M3 Competition. Did some searching on google and on the forum and couldn't find any information on anyone trying to fit these before.
I realize there are replicas of these wheels on the aftermarket but I would prefer OEM and Im also just curious. M-Sport: Front alloy wheels: 18x7.5" ET49 | 215/40R/18 Wheel part number: BMW 36116779800 Rear alloy wheels: 18x8.5" ET52 | 245/35R/18 Wheel part number: BMW 36116779803 E46 M3 Comp: Front alloy wheels: 19x8" ET47 | 235-245/35/19 Wheel part number: BMW 36112282895 Rear alloy wheels: 19x9.5" ET27 | 275-285/30/19 Wheel part number: BMW 36112282999 For Comparison: Apex ARC-8: Front: 18x8.5" ET45 | 225-235/40/18 Rear: 18x9.5" ET62 | 265-275/35/18 I realize fitting that 19x9.5" ET27 in the rear may be tricky and overall not work. but could you run a square setup using the front 19x8" ET47? *note I'm not a tire/rim expert.

Ive been back in forth between the VMR's and Apex then I cam across these. Might have more value/resale than aftermarket. My only reason for wanting a OEM wheel.

Amount of tire entirely depends on the fender and strut side clearance. Apex Arc-8 gives us the most fender side clearance possible short of cutting the fender. Also, folks are able to put the 275 and in some cases 285 out back on the Arc-8 with the 18" wheel. 19" will restrict your options as the tire sidewall starts getting pretty small.

E46 nonM wheels are often somewhat able to fit our cars. That's where my wheels came from, my wheels are listed in my signature.

I've always thought about this. While it will work, I wouldn't be able to get over the fact that all four wheels will look exactly the same. The difference in concavity between the front and rear are what really make those wheels stand out. Probably my favorite OEM-style wheel OAT. I'm sure they'd look great either way.

Yeah, some cheap Style 359 reps. Got them years ago for my old e46 but they've held up quite well. They're not the greatest 1-series fitment either, so I'll probably get rid of them after this summer, but they work pretty well.
