Need Glovebox USB Port
Trying to update NAV maps, I've found upon close inspection my glovebox USB port has a folded tab. I haven't pulled the USB port socket yet, but it looks like it may be a modular part with a wiring-harness plug on its back side.
Is this in fact the case? I'd like to get some guidance, before I start yanking on it. Anyone know what its BMW part number is, so I can get a replacement? Glovebox USB port: Close-up showing 3rd tab from top folded over: Diagram of what I think the part will look like, once removed - labeled #3 below:

The picture you have with the USB module (call out #3) is correct. I've taken down the glove box for my car more times than I care to admit. There is a cable with a white connector end which does attach to the back of the USB port module.

zx10guy thanks for the confirmation. Looks like all I'll need, then, is "Genuine BMW USB Socket - 84109237656 " and I'll be ready to retry that nav update.
