A two part question about n54 inlet pipes by a tuning noob.

Part 1: G'day all, I'm looking to rid my engine bay of plastic, which includes the inlet pipes. On the ECS Tuning website I have discovered 1.75in & 2in silicon options. To keep my engine stock/near-stock I'm assuming the smaller option is the one for me, is this correct? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-vrsf-par.../10901050~vrf/https://www.ecstuning.com/b-vrsf-par.../10901052~vrf/
Part 2: Are there any aussie 1Addicts who can direct me to an aussie parts/speed shop where I can source these or equivalent parts. I would much rather source parts locally than going overseas.

I've found the aftermarket silicone inlets don't fit well, they sit jammed up against the transmission/engine and firewall and theres a lot of sharp edges there that can rub and wear a fatter silicone inlet.

Have seen the earlier ones not really handle the heat too and seen cracking of the silcione where it had to be squished for install, and seen them rub holes through the inlets in around 18 months of daily driving.

Thanks for the insight. The lack of room front and rear has weighed on my mind, it's a bit snug with the factory units. I guess I'll research this some more to come to a more informed decision.
