Misfiring after removing and replacing charge pipe

So today I was playing around and removed the charge pipe to take a closer look at the sound generator.

After reinstalling everything and starting up the car it pretty much started misfiring on cylinder 3 right away.

I have never had this issue before.

Pure coincidence or is it possible the removal and replacement of the charge pipe/air box caused this?

Also yesterday I changed the oil and filter too if that's relevant or not.

I cleared the codes and started the engine again and it was misfiring at idle too.

This is on my n54 2008 135i.

Ok this is the biggest coincidence in the history of things.
I swapped coil pack 3 to 4 and the misfire followed.
Guessing the coil pack is dead.

I thought I broke something when simply removing and replacing the charge pipe!

Will order a replacement and see how I go

Always try to keep 2 or 3 used but known good coils as spares in the trunk. For that time you may be very far from a garage and a mis-fire pops up.

Yes I think I'll be doing that, if not replacing all the coils!

Will need to keep a toolkit in the car
