I live in a valley so I've noticed a little AM reception degradation but shouldn't be a big problem. and yes its a Tag, the wife gave it to me for Valentine's day 10 years ago... |

okay I retract what I said before about signal degradation... driving around town today... I didn't notice any at all... AM radio reception was not compromised for me at all for the local station I tune to at lunch.

Hey Buckaroo,
What is the part number for this short sport ant? The above BMW website lists 65202179726, but RealOEM says that is not a good number. Just curious. I only found this sport antenna for the 1er Hatch's... Antenna rod KURZ - 280MM 65200427463 $21.75 This one is 280 mm long. Not short like yours. |

Here is a link to one source:
http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/1-Se...duct_info.html I do not think that any of these little antennas are from BMW, I think they are all aftermarket. Jim

I got the short antenna from Bimmian a couple of years ago- looks very similar to the antenna above. I've noticed no degradation in signal, however I rarely listen to the regular radio.

Thanks Buckaroo.
RealOEM must not have the latest parts data base yet. It still shows that this part doesn't exist. I am sure it is in BMW's system though. Thx. |
