Since you're going stage2 I'm assuming you have a upgraded intercooler no?
Would you recommend the VRSF IC?
I am not doing the intercooler just yet, but I am going with the ARM intercooler.

https://www.armmotorsports.com/N54-N...p/335-fmic.htm

I rarely have a chance to get on the car hard, 80% of it's life is spent in bumper to bumper traffic on the 10 going to and from Santa Monica, until I get time to buy a Prius. From what I've heard Stage 2 is fine on the stock intercooler unless you are getting on it for extended amounts of time. With the sport button off I'd assume boost level are pretty similar to Stage 1 in sport mode. Mid range torque is incredible with the VRSF DP btw, spent the majority of Angeles Crest in 4th gear, never felt like I was out of the power band.

I spent two hours in Angeles Crest today (office closed for the day) and my temps ventured about 5 degrees above the mid 250 degree tick. I wouldn't run up there on stage 2 without the IC. I'm probably going to source a Dinan oil cooler as well. I monitor with MHD so I'm not terribly worried about temps yet.

i would update to the latest release. Added safeties and boost target limits on the latest maps. Late E HPFP is a bit weak.

looks like a boost leak

I know a bit off topic....but I'm considering a pure turbo stage 2 upgrade for my n55. Is it possible to get a custom mhd tune for it?

what mileage interval is recommended for changing spark plugs? I'm at ~15k miles of being tuned on mine. Also, any negative side effects to using 1 step colder NGK plugs for a stage 2+ tune?

Looks like your late E-series N55 custom tune is 'unavailable' for purchase on your website. Currently running the BEF+JB4. Stick with a BEF custom tune or full tune for better performance/driveability?

may be a glitch just email me. that is up to you. Flash only will generally have better drivibility and etc. but i can tune you on whatever you want.

fuel pressure is fine. yes, cylinder 6 is a little more noisy. Just keep an eye on it. Check plugs if can.

Are we to change coils at the same interval as plugs? Or something like every other plug change?

Changing coils isn't really needed unless they're very old. If you change the plugs and are getting timing corrections that are consistent to a cylinder and you move that coil to another cylinder and the correction follows, then the coil is most likely bad.

Super late to respond but we made 357/449, stock intercooler, off road DP. Otherwise stock. DCT car, made pull in 5th gear. Car is primarily a track/hillclimb car, has been driven hard full season tuned, no issues yet. Car only trapped at 111 mph (12.8 on a 2.2 60', couldn't get launch control to work), I would think it would've trapped closer to 115, probably due to the stock intercooler.

Newbie emissions help!

Hello, I just purchased my first 135I MT. It has these mods (MHD tune, 7 intercooler and straight exhaust, has Catless dp). My question is can I get it to pass an emissions test without going back to stock exhaust setup?

Probably not going to pass emissions with all of your emissions equipment removed. Not sure this is the best thread for these types of questions as it doesn't pertain directly to the MHD tunes for N55 cars.

Yeah go to the emissions testing with $100+ cash and it's a guaranteed pass, works here in SoCal at the right spot

Spark plug recommendation? I've been running NGK 95770 pn: ILZKBR7B-8DG
I've had minor timing corrections but that could be due to OTS map.
Anyone had experience with NGK 97506 (1 step colder then stock n55)?
Mods are dp, ic, 3" axle back, fuel pump running e30 map

Ngk 95770 plugs gapped to .022, the OTS maps have some timing corrections with this version, logs posted in the e90post.
