17x9 ET35, clears the strut by a hair's width. The tire intermittently ever so slightly touches the strut, just enough to leave a tiny scuff on the shock.

My suspension is a KW clubsport kit with camber plates and M3 arms. I also have whiteline inserts in the rear. I run a 17x8.5 square setup now but it needs just a little bit more. Car holds it own mostly but push in the corners and being heavy are its drawbacks for sure.

Its been a slow development for my car balancing Daily drive / Trackability / budget. Spend too much on parts and i cant afford to track haha. But now i'm faced with decisions, i have some stoptechs to go on and i have to go 18" but might as well buy a wide set of 18s and "make" them fit rather than buy another set of wheels down the road. So here i am researching...

I have Stoptech Trophy front and rear. If you get Apex ARC-8 17x9 ET42 with 255/40R17 RS-3 V2 (10mm spacer up front so the wheel doesn't touch the strut) you should be able to clear your BBK.

Need something that will bring the actual bumper out wider along with the fender, to move the bumper tab laterally so it's not teasing the tire all the damn time.

That's because those were designed for use with a stock rear end and stock front bumper. 15mm per side is pretty damn good for those wanting to keep the 135i body style though. Made me think about doing a 19x9/265 square setup, but I cant get my wheels anymore, so ordering a set of rear wheels for the front is just not an option. The fender options N5tuner offers just doesn't make sense right now, and I do think they botched the rear overfenders somewhat TBH.
